How does it work?
- Contact us about your open positions including job descriptions, salary, etc.
- We contact qualified candidates to discuss your unique temp, temp to perm or permanent opportunity.
- Once the candidate passes our initial phone screen we present the resume to you complete with references, degree and license verified.
- After you review the candidate, simply provide feedback to us and whether you would like to schedule an in-person or phone interview first.
- We will schedule all the phone or in-person interviews you need to assist you in making the hiring decision.
How much does your service cost and what is a placement?
There is no cost to get started; you can place a job order, review resumes and interview our pre-qualified candidates for free via phone interviews.
A temporary placement is a cost effective approach to handling short term needs such as vacation, illness, and other staffing shortages or other emergencies.
Temporary employees remain on our payroll; PharmAssist Staffing handles payroll, payroll tax deposits, Alaska unemployment taxes (ESC), Workers Comp, liability and bonding insurance, employee files, W-2's, etc. You receive an itemized invoice outlining services provided accompanied by a certified timesheet. There are no hidden charges. Our rates are either hourly or a flat rate--whichever you prefer.
A temp to perm placement is your opportunity to "try before you buy." You can find out what kind of employee you are getting and how he or she operates under fire. The pharmacist or pharmacy tech can also learn more about your company on the job.
Temp to perm employees remain on our payroll for 90 days after which the pharmacist or pharmacy tech can become your employee. In the meantime, PharmAssist Staffing handles payroll, payroll tax deposits, Alaska unemployment taxes (ESC), Workers Comp, liability and bonding insurance, employee files, W-2's, etc. You receive an itemized invoice outlining services provided accompanied by a certified timesheet. There are no hidden charges. Our rates are either hourly or a flat rate-- whichever you prefer.
A permanent placement is an opportunity to utilize our database to explore a potential permanent match with pre-screened pharmacists and pharmacy technicians through telephone and/or in-person interviews. Telephone interviews are free, however, in-person interviews with candidates living outside of the immediate area are subject to travel expenses.
The fee for a permanent hire is a flat percentage of the candidate's first year starting salary. Bonuses, relocation allowances, and/or stock options are NOT included in the fee calculation--only the starting salary. There is NO recruiting FEE unless we bring you a candidate good enough to hire!
All employment fees are 100% tax deductible as allowed by the IRS.
